The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit, and fire.”

Levels 1-4 Horsemanship & Riding Skills

Learning and progressing through the multiple competencies allow riders to become safer and more efficient in mastering horse care, handling and riding skills.

Our incredible lesson horses are simply the best! We couldn’t do what we do without them. I’m sure you will find them wonderful, as they are great teachers.

Interested in learning to ride or returning to the saddle as it’s been a while?

We teach a progression based curriculum teaching horsemanship and riding.  Our horsemanship mounted and unmounted skills are based on Certified Horsemanship Association. Our levels begin with the first introduction to horses, teaching safety while working around them, getting an understanding of equine behavior and learning the many skills of riding. We make it fun for the rider using vivid images to help with the learning process.

TEAMWORK - RESPONSIBILITY - EMPATHY

Horses are remarkable teachers to learn leadership and can be great facilitators of human development.  They teach us the incredible value of kindness.

Some of the intrinsic values from our relationship working with horses promotes trust, confidence, leadership, responsibility, initiative, nurture and caring, teamwork, problem solving and genuine happiness.

Wonderful to see this unfold!

Introduction to horses 3 one-hour private lessons…………..$145.00

Rates and Lessons Booking:

We can schedule weekly, every other week, or just one time.

All lessons include groom and tack as learning to safely work around your horse builds confidence from the ground and starts the bonding experience. All first-time riders need to be assessed on your skill ability prior to riding with another rider. Private lessons accelerate learning due to one on one instruction.

NEW: Our lessons rates have increased by $5.00, due to the cost of taking care of our precious 4 legged friends and our wonderful employees which we value very much. We have kept the rates as low as possible for many years and hope that you feel that your time with us learning and progressing outweighs the small dip in the pocket.
